Obama to deliver clean energy speech Friday at MIT
1 Comment Published October 20th, 2009 in UncategorizedBoston.com - President Barack Obama is planning to give a speech on Friday at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, according to a White House statement and a copy of his schedule.
Obama, who is in town to hold a fundraiser for Governor Deval Patrick, will deliver remarks on “American leadership in clean energy,” according to the statement. He will address state, community, and business leaders as well as MIT students and staff.
Obama is scheduled to arrive in Boston at 11:30 a.m., and will depart about four hours later.
His address at MIT will take place in the Kresge Auditorium and will begin at noon.
